The artist

I’m Ingrid, an expressionist abstract artist based in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, working in acrylic and mixed media. My practice began as a way to heal and regulate my nervous system—an intuitive process of expressing what I could not put into words.

Through daily exploration, I translate energy and emotion into colour, texture, and movement. My work is rooted in the idea of alchemy—transforming what feels heavy into something softer, more spacious, and alive.

Lately, I’ve been exploring internal landscapes: unseen, felt spaces that exist within. Each piece is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and listen more deeply.
